Part-Time Position
Posted on 2025-10-06
About Us
Storage Solutions is a family-owned and operated self-storage business that has proudly served our communities since the 1990s. We’re growing across southwestern Ontario and are looking for dependable, hands-on people who value hard work, reliability, and friendly service. Our team supports people during life transitions — moving, downsizing, starting fresh — and we believe in doing that with professionalism, kindness, and care.
About the Role
We’re hiring a part-time Site & Facility Assistant to help oversee our self-storage property in Fergus, ON. This is an independent, active role suited for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working with their hands, and taking pride in keeping a property safe, clean, and running smoothly.
You’ll complete walk-arounds, light repairs, and ensure everything on-site is in good working order — from gates and doors to lighting and yard condition. While most customer transactions are handled through our head office, you may occasionally process move-ins or move-outs directly, such as helping a customer complete a rental, securing a unit, or finalizing a move-out inspection.
You won’t have to hold office hours or sit behind a desk, but you’ll check in with our head office team and record your completed tasks and hours weekly. From time to time, you may be called to the site on short notice to handle an urgent issue, such as resetting the gate or checking on a customer concern. These situations are rare but important.
